What is driving Klik’s cyber security packages
Hey, this is Arthur Olshansky with Klik Solutions. Thank you for joining me once again here on Klik TV. For this segment we have our Chief Technology Officer, Roman Shraga, joining us. Roman is a technology leader and an overall business leader within our organisation. Today I believe he has 60-plus folks under his team, and their primary focus is to make sure that our clients are taken care of from a technology footprint 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
I do a lot of running around with our business development team, talking to a lot of different folks. Cyber security is a huge concern — everybody is nervous, afraid of what could happen. Some have already experienced significant problems, outages, downtime. The threat continues to happen, and panic is really the best way we can describe it. Can you talk about what is driving the development of the packaging, and some of the thinking behind the cyber security offerings Klik Solutions has put together?
With that growing reliance you have a growing threat landscape, with malicious actors that want to capitalise on it.
Roman Shraga, CTO, Klik Solutions
Really the driving force behind a lot of it, at its root, is the growing reliance on technology. We are in the industry and our service desk feels it first. But with that growing reliance you have a growing threat landscape, with malicious actors who want to capitalise on that reliance — they want to wreak havoc, they want to monetise. So ultimately we had an operational need.
Additionally, as we have grown and developed our processes, refined them and aligned to ITIL and NIST, we felt that it came to a point where, as our capabilities grew and our frameworks affected our overall operations, that needed to flow through to our clients — to bring that level of service that we brought in the very beginning.
